Job Descriptions

  • Counselor

    Primary caregivers for each camper responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills.

  • Camp Activities Director

    The go-to person for all things related to camp activities with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for our campers.

  • Activity Specialist

    Leads activities including, but are not limited to: Sports, games, waterfront, ranged activities, arts and crafts, performance arts, nature, cooking, S.T.E.M.*

  • Food Service Director

    The Food Service Director position is seasonal (June through middle of August) and is managed and supervised day to day by the Executive Director. 

  • Kitchen Staff

    Kitchen Staff members are responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals and snacks for all camp programs under the direction of the Food Service Director. 

  • Camp Nurse

    Up to full time during summer season (~ 9 weeks). Salary is commensurate with experience. Expectation to participate in scheduled educational leadership meetings.

  • Health Care Assistant

    The Health Care Assistant is responsible for assisting in providing health and safety services to campers and staff. Note: that local emergency service response time to camp is approximately 15 minutes. 

  • Maintenance Staff

    Maintenance Staff members are responsible for maintaining the facilities and grounds of the camp and campgrounds under the direction of the Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities Manager. 

  • Lifeguard

    To further the mission of the camp by providing supervision and ensuring a safe environment at the camp’s waterfront activities. Maintain the physical operation of the waterfront facilities and equipment. 

  • Director of Marketing & Communication

    Marketing and communication with the Garezers community and the general public is essential for informing and promoting Garezers mission year round.
